Meeting Mother Mary
An online mini-retreat with the
Triple Goddess of Christianity
Maiden. Mother. Queen. Crone.
Mother Mary, in her fierce grace and undying love, embodies all of these aspects of the Goddess. Hidden in plain sight for millennia, she remains steadfast and strong in a lineage that has too often erased the feminine. Yet Her love remains— beckoning us, reminding us constantly of our belonging— to Her, to Life, to ourselves and to one another.
Mary stands on the unique precipice of human meets divine, heaven meets earth, sorrow and suffering giving way to the Biggest Love and Holding imaginable. Her YES opens a YES in all of us. Her love is here, holding us all even as the world seems to crumble around us. She reminds us that we, too, stand in this gateway of heaven and earth, human and divine, body and soul, in the both/and, beckoning more life to come.
In this mini-retreat we’ll begin to immerse ourselves in these waters. We’ll explore these aspects of Her and of Us— innocence and grace; ripeness and birthing; dying and letting go; sovereignty and service. She is the temple of the Living Christ, Sophia embodied. As am I. As are you. As are we. Blessed Be!

-this retreat is for women, female identified people or those who primarily identify with the feminine principle. Circles of women are powerful spaces to reclaim the Goddess and our own feminine power.
-those interested in Mother Mary, in particular in growing in relationship with her
-those desiring to approach these mysteries of Soul and the Sacred from and in a deeply embodied place (this is NOT an academic or intellectual kind of thing)
-folks of any, all or no faith welcome. This work is particularly potent for those informed by or interested in the Christian lineage, especially those seeking healing and recovery, desiring to reclaim the “golden threads” of the lineage
-those in full response-ability for their own healing and spirit journey
Who this retreat is not for:
-anyone wanting to debate or argue a posture or position around Mary or those not interested in exploring the Divinity of Mary (and us!)
-folks seeking a more intellectual, academic experience of Mary or theology
-those without resource to self-source, self-soothe and in general take responsibly for your own healing path and well-being
-anyone in any kind of immediate acute trauma and primarily in need of psychological healing

Who’s Erin Duffy-Burke?
Hello! I am a Catholic priestess, spiritual entrepreneur and innovator, among many other things. Born and raised Catholic, I fell in love with God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and all things sacred at a young age. The Feminine aspects of God started pursuing me as a teenager and since that I've been in an ever-sweetening dance with God/dess. I am deeply informed by embodiment— dance, yoga, nervous system work, song, and in general just listening to, honoring and taking care of all my cells. I am called deeply into service of the people of God/dess, and for me this means resurrecting and reclaiming the power of the Divine Feminine in all of us! It is an honor to live in service of Her, and you! I hold masters degrees in Catholic Education (University of Notre Dame), Multicultural Ministry (Franciscan School of Theology) and Christian Spirituality (Graduate Theological Union). I am also a trained yoga teacher and yoga therapist, facilitator of embodied transformation, birth doula and spiritual director. I live in St. Louis with my beloved John and our pups, on a small city lot we love to tend and grow things in, but mostly is a reminder of the beautiful wild.
