an ecstatic, embodied encounter with the Divine Feminine in celebration of Pentecost

What if Pentecost— when the Holy Spirit descended on the first apostles— was a deeply feminine moment that initiated the Christian movement?  The symbols and presence of the Divine Feminine in this story are abundant– the dove, the wind, the fire– but most importantly, the women.  Mother Mary stands at the center of this turning– opening herself and the circle gathered to the ancient but newly felt force of Sophia, Divine Wisdom.   In a moment of fear, grief and longing, the early followers of Jesus had an ecstatic encounter with the Spirit– Sophia– and were never the same.

Join us to explore this moment of tradition and scripture in all new ways.  Receive an experience of ecstatic, embodied communion.  Return to the origins of the radical love of Christ– the Sacred She.   Feel Her living and moving and having Her being— in YOU.

Hi, I’m Erin

I’m so glad you’re interested in this work. The Divine Feminine is rising in unprecedented ways in our time, and I’m so grateful to be of service to Her return, particularly in the tradition of my origins, the Christ-light lineage. Rooted in Catholic Christian sacrament, spirituality, and social justice, I work in service to the reclamation and renewal of Sophia, the Feminine heart of Christ, in devotion to the liberation of all beings.  I’m honored and excited to re-member and reweave this golden thread of Sophia Christ all the way from the Great Cosmic Mother Goddess into our lives today. I hold masters degrees in Catholic Education (U. of Notre Dame), Multicultural Ministry (Franciscan School of Theology) and Christian Spirituality (Graduate Theological Union) and over two decades of experience teaching, facilitating and leading retreats.  I am also an embodied soul care practioner, yoga therapist, facilitator of embodied transformation, birth doula, theAlogian and writer.  I live and love with my found family in the Dutchtown neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri.
